My Bio
My name is Keegan Wong. And I am a wedding photojournalist.
As a child, I was inspired by creativity. As I grew up, I began to see colourful things around me. Emotions. Laughter. Joy. Tears. Friendship. And love. I remember thinking to myself – these moments are the ones which make everyday life so memorable. So candid, so unique. So unforgettable. What if I could capture every moment, freeze them so that they can become timeless and treasured forever. Where the power of one photograph can sum up years of life, or two which can sum up a lifetime of love.
My approach to photography is very simple – to capture beautiful photos in a relaxed style, recording it in a photojournalistic manner with minimal influence. I want to document your special day in life from the moment you put the dress on, till your wedding dance at the reception. Above all I want everyone I shoot to have an exciting, fun and enjoyable experience in front of my camera.
I shamelessly admit that I love being unique. I aspire to create a new style in weddings and I love the challenge. You will never see me in a studio, because I love the outdoors. You will not see me in modelling, because (although I am really very ridiculously good looking!) I don’t fancy the glamour and artificial-ism that accompanies it. I also love a good coffee – cappucino, one sugar. I love my gadgets. My favourite colour is green. I love travelling and immersing myself in tranquil sceneries. I love New Age music. I love to sit down and watch people go by. I love seeing people in love, which is why I love my job.

My last journal entry dated back February 2009. That's almost 22 months ago. Since then, I have been:
- Finishing off my Pharmacy degree. Graduated in late 2009. Got my piece of Paper and ran away.
- Did my intensive 1 year internship at a Pharmacy round the corner from my house.
- Passed my Viva Voce exam which allows me to get my license and practice independently as a Pharmacist.
- Began my own Photography company http://www.keeganwong.com - starting with the Black Label Series since January 2009 and the White Label Series in early 2010.
So as you can see, I have been very very productive. I am also very very exhausted from studying,

It's been almost a year since I've written a journal, updated any of my collections (by gosh DeviantART has changed!) but I have been putting the odd deviations or two.
This year is my last year at University. I will be graduating this year from Pharmaceutical studies. But before I do, I need to work a 9-5 shift for 4 days each week for 10 weeks, followed by 7 weeks then another 7 weeks at 3 different pharmacies. Sigh. That does not include a full 8-5pm Monday lecture/tutorials, and all the stupid assignments and homework and workbook we have to complete.
Kill me please.

Hi everyone!
Not sure whether you guys remember but I left deviantART due to study reasons and now I'm back because its the HOLIDAY! =)
You'll probably notice alot of re-publications of my work. This is because I've removed my signature + any borders around my current works. I trust that no one will steal my work because if they do I'll come knocking on your door and god knows what will happen to you :)
